At the end of the friendly match against Modena which ended in a 5-0 victory, AC Milan's centre-back Alessio Romagnoli spoke to the club's official channel and said the following words about CEO Ivan Gazidis who has recently been diagnosed of throat cancer:
"We are all with him and we wish him good luck. I know he is watching the matches, so a big good luck to Ivan, he will surely win this battle and come back stronger than before."
On the goal:
"Now the goal is to work and start in a strong way, we were good but the road is long and we have to work."
On the next season:
"We always have to improve, last year we had a great season but this year we have to do even better. I'm working and I feel good, and we must all work together."
