AC Milan managers are still looking to identify a profile to add to the squad of Stefano Pioli in the role of the playmaker after the exit of Turkish 27-year-old Hakan Calhanoglu.
The name that is linked to the club, among others, is Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow. The 23-year-old Croatia international is admired by the club leaders and they are reportedly making attempts to bring him to the San Siro.
According to the latest news learnt by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlasic is pushing to leave the Russian club in favour of a move to the Rossoneri.
But, there is not only Milan. A new club has inserted itself in the race for the player which is Russian outfit Zenit Saint Petersburg. In fact, they are even willing to put on the table a transfer fee of 25 million euros.
