The president of AC Milan, Paolo Scaroni , gave an interview to TGR Lombardia. Here are all his statements:

“Milan have been very active on the transfer market: they have done many things, I hope for the satisfaction of the Rossoneri fans. We should always having economic sustainability in mind: we have done a lot of the market always thinking that the accounts must be in order. Looking at the Serie A market, there is no doubt that it has been a bit in retreat from, for example, the Premier League; when I read that our fans write that the Italian teams are becoming impoverished, they sell the best pieces and they don't buy, I think they have a bit of reason."

On the reopening of the stadiums:

"The reopening of the stadiums is an important thing. I was in Milan-Cagliari in a San Siro that was finally full. It gave me a lot of sadness to go to the empty stadiums and it was great on Sunday to go to San Siro. Then there is an economic impact and this is also an important aspect, because the accounts of all the teams shake a bit. Now two issues will arise: we want stadiums to be 100% open and not 50%, also because it is not clear why they are 100% open in England and not in Italy. I went to Klagenfurt to watch Milan-Real Madrid and the stadium was full of people, without a mask. A second theme is that we need modern and new infrastructures: all of us Italian clubs must do what they did in Europe 10 to 15 years ago, which is, equip ourselves with new stadiums that allow us to have higher profitability."

On the new stadium project:

"Milan is very ready. It seems to me that the Municipal Administration is also ready, because I have received assurances from Mayor Sala that, with the changes we have made, our project is fine. I also feel that the opposition, given that we are in election time, is in favor of building the new stadium at San Siro. I would like to say that on this front I feel comfortable that things will happen in a short time . Milan-Inter stadium? this is our project together with Inter", thus concluded Scaroni, the club president.
