Giovanni Stroppa who is a former AC Milan player and ex coach of Messias at Crotone spoke well of the Brazilian 30-year-old to Tuttosport in an interview. Here are his words:
"Who does he look like from my Milan in the past? I played with Savicevic. Maybe Dejan was more genius but for the way going away in dribbling I could make this kind of comparison. I hope Ibrahimovic will take him under his wing and protect him, make him grow because Junior can be extraordinary for him too. If he were 22-23 years old - added the current Monza coach - we would be talking about a phenomenon that has arrived at Milan."
