Speaking to Sky Sport's microphones, this is how Davide Calabria expressed himself after the game against Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium:
"They started really strong, it's a different pace and another team compared to the ones we face in the league. They have formidable players, they are one of the best teams in the world. You have to compliment your opponent every now and then. We were able to fix it, then we could be more careful."
On the match:
"Being able to score two goals in a stadium like this, after so many years without Champions League, with so many players making their debut in this competition… It's normal to struggle at times. As soon as we found the right times we managed to hurt Liverpool. We take what is good from today's match."
On his debut in the Champions League competition with captain's armband:
"It's a pride, it's every child's dream. It was beautiful and exciting, I was hoping for a win but we still have many more games to prove our worth, it's still a long way to go."
