In the eve of Juventus-Milan at the Allianz Stadium, a game valid for matchday 4 of Serie A, coach Allegri spoke to the media in the press conference:
On the type of the match:
"It's always Juve-Milan, one of the most important matches in the league if not the most important. Milan have been playing together for almost three years and have acquired important certainties."
On his training doubts:
"I have three doubts. One in defense, one in midfield and one in attack. Chiesa is one of them. Surely on the right he makes a lot more, while in front he needs to play with a striker."
On the defense and Bonucci:
"The doubt is between the three central players. I must say that a pleasant surprise is Daniele Rugani, about whom I had no doubt. It doesn't mean he will play, but I can rely on him. The doubt is about the three central players, two will play. Unless we play with the three-man defence. Bonucci will sometimes have to stay out. It makes me angry when he forces plays, but it is a fundamental element for us."
On Federico Chiesa:
"On the left, he has important qualities that would lead him to enter the field and take advantage of the one-on-one shots on goal. But he has to improve on some things."
On his Juventus squad:
"We are growing, we have been together in the last few weeks. Tomorrow's game gives us hope, but I think it's more important for them than for us. Our first assessment can be made before the November break: I believe that we will be in a different position there."
On Ibrahimovic:
"I was lucky enough to coach Ibrahimovic, he is still a crucial player. The game is important because it’s Juventus versus Milan", declared Allegri.
On AC Milan:
"For sure, we’ll play a great game tomorrow, then we can’t know the result already. Il Diavolo invented their own football and games can change very quickly. We need to be balanced, work hard have the desire and the ambition to improve."
