Technical director of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini, is at the Allianz Stadium and spoke to DAZN, a match broadcaster about Franck Kessié:
"If I talked more with Klopp at Anfield or with Franck Kessie's agent lately? I talked more with Klopp. Things need to be told, we've been talking to Kessie's agent for a year and a half. There have been many occasions and there will be just as many."
Franck Kessié has spoken to La Gazzetta dello Sport when he was at the Tokyo Olympics a few months ago and said that he was going to "fix everything" claiming that he intends to stay at Milanello. Since then, a lot has been said and little progress was done in this regard.
On Allegri's statements and Milan's certainties:
"Will it be a more important challenge for us? I don't know Juventus' motivations, you should ask Allegri. For us it is an important match, we come from an away game that has taught us so much. Our certainties are those of wanting to impose something, not to be passive, to improve with young people who, year after year, gain more experience: we feel stronger than last year."
On Romagnoli:
"He is a great professional and our captain. A top team has 14-15 starters and Alessio is one of them."
On Locatelli:
"I arrived when Locatelli wanted to go to Sassuolo, so we satisfied his request. He wanted to leave. Here, at Milan, those who want to stay remain. Manuel's path was not suitable for that type of team and that experience did him well."
On facing Juventus:
"This is an important game for us. We did not lose our confidence after the defeat against Liverpool."
