During the press conference, coach Stefano Pioli spoke to the media after the victory against Venezia 2-0 about the entry of Theo Hernandez who brought an assist and a goal:
"The team played with continuity. They pushed and created. We have more than one quality players and they are used to win games."
On the defence and conceding less goals now in this season:
“Importantly, it means that the team is there and is fine, they believe in it and play. We are only at the beginning, I have a very deep squad, apart from a few too many injuries at the moment. They are all players who can help the team."
At what point is your AC Milan team:
"We can improve in many aspects. All the matches give us interesting ideas, there are many situations where we can grow."
What's different between last season's first 13 points and these?
"The crow in stadiums. Now, we play for our fans, they give us enthusiasm and energy. It's a show to play at home. We have created this environment thanks to our performances."
On the importance of having alternatives:
"I disagree on the not brilliant first half, just a little bit of quality was lacking. I am not surprised by the players who have played little so far, they are all strong."
Coach Pioli was asked about the injuries, he responded by saying the following...
"Tonight everything should have gone well, I don't know who we will recover by Saturday. Ibrahimovic, Giroud and Calabria and Kjaer are certainly doing better, but I don't know for Saturday, we'll see who we recover between tomorrow and Friday."
