Ahead of the big game tonight, AC Milan Primavera team played against club Atlético de Madrid in the UEFA Youth League at the Vismara.
The Rossoneri lost the first game against Liverpool 1-0. However, they were full of determination and motivation today to get a better result.
The young Milanese players were needed to put all their focus and power in this match to start some sort of good form because they have started the season poorly: 2 defeats and 2 draws.
The Spaniards opened the score thanks to a goal by Salim El Jebari el Hannouni who managed to slip into the penalty box between the defenders and put the ball past the net in the 22nd minute.
Then, it was AC Milan's 17-year-old midfielder, Antonio Gala, who scored the equaliser in the 45th minute before the end of the first half at the Vismara.
Atlético Madrid had a few more chances to score thanks to their star Martin. But Milan also showed some qualities and determination. The Rossoneri did not give up and tried as best as they could to try and get the win.
Eventually, the two teams shook hands on one point apiece.
