AC Milan's striker, Olivier Giroud, will not be taking part of tonight's Serie A clash fixture against Atalanta in Bergamo. As we reported, it seems that the player is still struggling with his back pain and some rest is needed for him.
According to what is reported by Calciomerecatoweb.it, as the Rossoneri will have to do once again without Giroud who missed quite a few games between Covid-19 and physical problems already, the management is starting to worry and consider some solutions in the market.
Although the player has managed to score 2 goals already in three appearances in Serie A, a transfer move in January is not ruled out.
To have more alternatives in attack, Milan could use the Kessie card to reinforce the advanced department. Paris Saint-Germain are big fans of the player and would be tempted to sign him in January. Paolo Maldini, therefore, could consider proposing an exchange to Leonardo. The deal would involve Kessié and Mauro Icardi. The Argentinian striker is not enjoying a good moment in his career right now with the French giants and a return to Italy could be the right move for him to revive his form.
The Argentine star is also being monitored by Serie A rivals Juventus. However, in the event of this exchange deal happens, the 'Bianconeri could do very little about it', concludes the report.
