AC Milan managed to win an important game last night against Atalanta 3-2 thanks to a good team effort.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, in today's print edition, highlighted the importance of the growth that the Rossoneri have shown.
For the newspaper, two players in Stefano Pioli's squad are now absolute pillars: Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao.
The former Brescia star, Tonali, has improved in terms of determination and personalit. Now he is showing quality and quantity as well as balance. He has therefore become the new master of the midfield, deservedly.
Same can be said about Rafael Leao who managed to be continuous and decisive. The Portuguese winger, who started the season with 9 appearances, 4 goals and an assist, was in fact a constant danger to the opposing defenses due to his resourcefulness and his ability to dribble past the defenders. If the former Lille continues like this, he could soon become a complete player of the highest level.
The newspaper also praised the work of Stefano Pioli who believed in these two players and brought out their best qualities as he helped them express their skills so well.
