AC Milan managers are not just working on making new signings for the team of Stefano Pioli. In fact, sales are also a fundamental part of creating a balanced squad.
In thi sense, Italian outlet Calciomercato.com is claiming that the Rossoneri directors are working on generating some cash for the club's coffers.

AC Milan must find the right balance in the squad...
AC Milan management has signed, in the summer, Olivier Giroud, Tiémoué Bakayoko, Ballo Fodé-Touré, Pietro Pellegri, Junior Messias and Alessandro Florenzi. These names have all made appearances for the team so far and they should have an important role in terms of rotation and depth. However, two players in Stefano Pioli's team are yet to make an appearance: Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo.
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, Conti and Castillejo are not part of the clubs' plans as they have not played a single minute since the official start of the season. A move out of Milanello is not excluded for the two players.
For Atalanta's former wing-back, AC Milan will not ask for anything to let the player leave to anothr club. His contract expires in June already and anticipating his exit could save them 1.2 million euros net in terms of residual salary.
As for the Spanish winger, his contract expires in June 2023. The club would prefer selling him for at least 6 million euros. His agents are already working to find an interested buyer in Spain. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are waiting for updates from the player's entourage.
