It will be a complicated coming period for AC Milan management as they try to find an agreement with their experienced Italian centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.
The team captain is now on the bench usually when Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer are fit and available. The Rossoneri's number 13 is also represented by Mino Raiola and has a contract expiring at the end of the season.
Currently, reports are suggesting that Romagnoli earns around 6 million euros per season which Milan values too highly and would not renew a contract at these current figures.
According to what is reported by Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, Juventus are on the trail of Alessio Roamgnoli. Allegri is thinking of the former AS Roma defender as heir to Chiellini.
Chiellini is 37 years old and recently renewed his contract with Juventus. However, Romagnoli is a tempting option for the Bianconeri especially if he leaves on a free.
A while ago, agent of the Milan defender has suggested that it would be possible to see Roamgnoli play with Juventus: "De Ligt and Romagnoli are among the strongest in Europe. De Ligt has a contract while Romagnoli expires. I think they could play together at Juventus."
