AC Milan lived a hard experience last night against Hellas Verona at the San Siro. However, despite being under with 2 goals in the first half, Pioli's team never gave up and scored 3 goals to secure the win.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, as usual, commented on the game and the performances of each player on the pitch as they came up with the following ratings:
The best rated player is Samu Castillejo with a 7. Then, there is Fikayo Tomori, Rade Krunic, and Rafael Leao with 6.5.
Next, we find Fodé Ballo-Touré who had a very bad first half but he managed to improve his performance in the second half, he therefore was shown a rating of 6 as well as Ismael Bennacer, Ante Rebic (who had to leave the game in the first half due to an injury), Franck Kessié, Davide Calabria, and Ciprian Tatarusanu.
Alessio Romagnoli and Alexis Saelemaekers did not enjoy a good game as their ratings were low, 5.5 and 5 respectively. More was expected from them. The worst player on the pitch was voted to be Daniel Maldini with a 5 rating.
