Against Bologna, and away from home, AC Milan managed to snatch three important points in the Serie A race. Now, the club has gone to the first position in the standings, at least temporarily while waiting for Napoli's game against Roma tomorrow.
Coach Stefano Pioli discussed the crazy match against Bologna in the press conference and said these words:
"The team was disunited before the 2-2. We started the second half badly thinking we had already closed the game. It was a mental error. The team, on the other hand, did well after the 2-2- to resume in hand the game and win it."
On Ibrahimovic:
"Zlatan's condition isn't 100% yet, and today's minutes have been more than what they were supposed to be. But, this will help him get back in shape, he's an important player. Ibrahimovic was on the pitch because we needed him."
On tomorrow's schedule:
"Tomorrow morning, there is training and testing. Then, I will watch the Serie A games."
Coach Pioli commented on winning on the occasion of achieving 100 matches as AC Milan boss:
"The victory for the 100 appearances is a wonderful gift. The matches after the Champions League are always difficult."
