Franck Kessié's contractual situation is very difficult and tricky for AC Milan club directors. The player's deal with the Rossoneri is due to expire and he does not seem willing to renew so far.
The situation creates some sort of divisions within the Milan club leaders. According to the latest news from Tuttosport, a part of the Rossoneri management wants to pressure Kessié into signing a new deal by leveraging his play-time until the end of the season. The other part thinks that this method can be counter-productive.
The Turin-based newspaper write the Milan directors are willing to sell the former Atalanta player in January's mercato. However, it seems complicated that other clubs would be willing to spend money to sign him when they can try and snatch him for free at the end of the season. Furthermore, the sale of Kessié would bring a very low figure in January anyway.
The Rossoneri midfielder number 79 continues to give Milan management a headache and there are no certainties so far regarding the future. AC Milan will have to wait and see if there will be any new progress on this front.
