One of AC Milan's icons, Alessandro Nesta, who was the author of many great moments of the club, was interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Among the topics he discussed, there was the contractual situation of Franck Kessié. Here's what the former player, now-turned coach, had to say:
"The rules are wrong, even in this case, the entire system must be reviewed. Every year, Milan cannot be taken by the neck by someone. There will always be a super rich party who would be willing to offer more. The Donnarumma's saga teaches that. I understand that Kessié is tempted to leave. He is not Milanese. He has no specific ties to the club. He is human in wanting to try be involved elsewhere."
