After a very positive start to the Serie A campaign for coach Stefano Pioli's team, AC Milan management are looking ahead to the future as they are already considering ways to bolster the squad.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to keep the team strong. One of the ways to do that is to look in the market for a suitable profile to add to the list of players at Milanello who would serve as a good attacking midfield option.
It is clear that the star playmaker right now is Brahim Diaz, and rightfully so for his useful contributions and plays. But, an alternative is also needed. In this sense, Milan might need to take a look at a former teammate of Diaz.: Isco.

According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, Isco is not at the top of AC Milan's wanted targets for January due to high demands. Contrary to what the Spanish media claims, the track leading to the former Malaga star is currently cold.
Instead, the player who has more chances of potentially joining AC Milan in January is Brest's star Romain Faivre.
