AC Milan team won another difficult game against AS Roma thanks to a great performance by Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored an absolutely powerful and beautiful freekick and even caused the penalty which was scored by Franck Kessié.
La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, highlighted the game as they made sure to reward Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the best rating: 8. The Swede was voted as the best player on the pitch, but Simon Kjaer also had the same rating due to his powerful performance which was as equally important.
Davide Calabria continued to work hard on the right flank as he proves his importance once again for the AC Milan side and the Rossoneri coach: a 7.5 rating is awarded to him. Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessié and Ciprian Tatarusanu were all crowned with a 7 for their hard work and contribution.
Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao put in a good shift as well, and for that they were shown a rating of 6.5. As for striker Olivier Giroud, he was given a 6. The former Chelsea French star was not able to have chances against Roma because Milan were down to 10 men but he did try his best to hold the ball and pass it to teammates. Same rating as Giroud goes to Rade Krunic, Alexis Saelemaekers, Ballo-Touré, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Alessio Romagnoli.
The worst player on the pitch for AC Milan, however, was Theo Hernandez who received a red card and put his teammates in difficulty. He was rated with a 5.
Stefano Pioli managed the game well, and for that he deserved a 7.5 rating.
