AC Milan's full-back, Davide Calabria, discussed the coming Champions League match against Porto in the Champions League and said these statements:
"Playing Champions League at the San Siro, it means a lot. It's something I've always dreamed of and worked hard for. I hope there will be many fans to support us tomorrow because they are our 12th man and it is a fantastic stadium when it is full of people. I hope we will play a great match to make them happy and to make ourselves happy as well."
On the tough Champions League group:
"I say it is the competition of details. Some details have been against us and this has led to this ranking. We are sorry because we deserve more, but there is little to say. Let's go tomorrow to do even better than previously. We made a great group, we are not satisfied, but we are happy with what we have done."
On having 0 points in the Champions League:
"I think there have been episodes that led to this ranking, which we don't deserve in my opinion, but that's the way it is and we have to look at the facts. I am convinced that there are possibilities to do even better", said Calabria.
On the good results in the ongoing Serie A campaign:
"It is the merit of everyone's work every day in training. Now we have to do it also in the Champions League and get some points. The comments after the Roma match? I think there will always be these refereeing episodes in football. Everyone can make mistakes, even the referees. I don't agree that these episodes have damaged Roma because I think we have been better on the pitch, but Roma also said this in the post-match. It was a well-deserved victory on our part and we need to be stronger than that even."
Calabria on his position on the pitch:
"I think it's a purposeful, offensive game. In modern football, it is a fundamental thing, we all believe in it, it is bringing us results and we will certainly do it in the Champions League as well. I will never ask the coach where to play. Surely playing often in my position is a positive thing, you can take measures and confidence with your teammates. I am able to play in other roles as well if necessary."
