As AC Milan collected their first point against Porto in the Champions League tonight, coach Stefano Pioli spoke this way to the media in the post-match press conference:
"Calabria? He took a hit in the head and wasn't very present. As for Rebic's condition, he is a bit better. We'll see in the next few days"
On the performances of the first half and second half:
"Regret or satisfaction? It's halfway between the two. In the second half we certainly played well, with intensity. In the first half, we struggled. We could have done better, in these matches you have to stay there for ninety minutes. We have two more games in the Champions League against great teams, we want to grab our first win in the competition."
Pioli on what he said to the team in the locker room:
"I told them that we must be lucid in our choices and more suited to the different situations during the match. There was the possibility of resuming the game and the boys were good. Unfortunately we were unable to score the second goal."
Were the players perhaps thinking about the Derby already tonight?
"Now I think about the derby, yes, but not before and I think the same goes for the boys. We lost the ball in the middle of the pitch and scored immediately, we played against a strong team", said Pioli, "In the first half we weren't lucid in our choices, then we played it with vehemence and intensity. It's a pity we didn't win."
