Many Italian clubs have expressed interest in Serie B sensation who plays as striker for Pisa, Lorenzo Lucca who is 21 years old.
AC Milan as well as their city rivals Inter have been linked with a move for the Italian centre-forward. Juventus are also reportedly keen on the youngster.
Pisa, on the other hand, are aware that they got themselves a jewel in their squad and that is why they can be dreaming about an auction which would see the highest bidder win the services of Lucca.
The Serie B side president, Giuseppe Corrado, spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport and said the following:
"Sassuolo also wanted him. Palermo's request was 3 million euros. But, we were offering 2 million euros. But, Knaster (majority owner of Pisa) said: 'If the player is strong, 2 or 3 million does not change much. What does Sassuolo have more than us? Serie A. So we make it clear to Lucca that we can get there with him'. Then, we were done, Sassuolo withdrew from the race and we satisfied Palermo with the fee and bonuses."
On how much is he worth now?
" I don't know, but if we make 20 million euros that Knaster has paid off for his investment... (he bought 75% of Pisa for a fee of 22 million euros) But an entrepreneur is like a fan, the expectations are high. We cannot stay 10 years in Serie B like that. Who wouldn't like to go to Serie A? But with the right bases, like Sassuolo, which is the example we follow."
