AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, is awarded the prize of Coach of the Month in the Serie A competition for the previous month of October due to an impressive run of form as he led his team to very good results in difficult matches.
The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches, writes Lega Serie A on their website.
Serie A CEO, Luigi De Siervo, said the following:
“In his third season with the Rossoneri, Stefano Pioli is continuing the excellent work that has brought Milan back to the top of Serie A TIM. A perfect management of the group, a convincing game and the ability to exploit every player in the squad certify the merits of Pioli, who in the month of October obtained five victories in as many matches, occupying the top of the table."
