Olivier Giroud, released an interview a few days ago as he spoke about his career and situation to L'Equipe. France national team, Didier Deschamps answered Giroud's statement concerning Karim Benzema:
"Everyone is free to say what they want about their situation. For me, the most important things are direct conversations with the players. Olivier knows this well."
For the record, Giroud said the following earlier:
"I found out [about Benzema's return] when the coach announced it. It was Deschamps' will. I understand it, but I would have liked to have been warned sooner."
