AC Milan management have a new competitor in the transfer market window: FC Fiorentina. The Serie A clubs both have the same target as they are looking to reinforce their respective teams.
The player in question is Julian Alvarez of River Plate. The Argentinian 21-year-old striker, also capable of operating on the right flank, is said to be having a 20 million euros release clause built in his contract, according to what is reported by Calciomercato.com.

The source writes that the two Serie A clubs, AC Milan and Fiorentina, are the most interested in the young attacker and they might even be able to land the player on a cheaper price than what the release clause is.
In fact, Julian Alvarez' contract expires soon, on December 2022, but he does not want to leave River Plate on a free transfer in order to not upset his club. But, he will push to leave on an affordable pricetag.
