Franck Kessié showed his true potential and strength last season in the system of Stefano Pioli. The former Atalanta midfielder matured and had contributed a lot to the team's positive results.
AC Milan management do want to keep the player, naturally, in order to benefit from his presence in the starting lineup. But, it seems that the midfielder's agent is making life difficult for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara at Casa Milan.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, everything has stopped at the moment. There are no negotiations between the parties involved.
While Paolo Maldini did in fact admit that there will be a meeting at some point in the future with Kessié's agent, George Atangana, the distance is too great between the offer and demand. For now, as pointed out by the same newspaper, no twists or surprises are expected.

Please sell him in january.Please….end this torture, and move away a guy who is not happy at AC Milan.Just move him away, tho whole thing lasts for too long, and brings bunch of nervous tensions to team.Just put him away, and go on .It takes too long, way too long,he is not himself since Avgust, and AC is shooting in his own leg by streching the whole thing further.Put that problem away and move on
