AC Milan directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, are working to reinforce the squad in the next transfer window by finding talents that can add much needed quality.
There have been many names on the shortlist of the directors and scouts such as Renato Sanches from Lille and Mohamed Ali-Cho from Angers. In short, the Serie A giants are attentive to profiles in the French league.
A new profile is now under the radar: Jean Onana of Bordeaux. He is a midfielder playing for Bordeaux. In this season so far, he scored 2 goals and provided one assist in 6 matches. The defensive midfielder from Cameroon has a contract tying him to the French outfit until 2026.
The 21-year-old player joined Bordeaux from Lille last summer and is valued at only 2 million euros. AC Milan have been impressed with the player as they followed the matches of Bordeaux in order to keep an eye on Yacine Adli's progress there.
Right now, there are not any negotiations between AC Milan and Bordeaux for Jean Onana. He will be monitored throughout the season by the club scouts and directors, and Maldini as well as Massara will decide if they need to attempt to sign him or not.
