AC Milan are looking to cut some costs and save money by letting go of some players who are not in the technical plans of Stefano Pioli.
As pointed out by Tuttosport in today's print edition, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are looking to thin out the squad in view of January's transfer market window. The two players who are in discussion are: right-winger Samu Castillejo and right-back Andrea Conti.
Once Milan decides to let go of the two mentioned above, we will understand if the club is planning to replace them with other players or if their idea is to continue the season without replacing them.
