Stefano Pioli, could soon be able to rely on his first goalkeeper who is currently returning to his shape, Mike Maignan. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French goalkeeper could in fact return to playing with the team against Sassuolo.
The Rossonero number 16 underwent an operation on his wrist on October 13 and if he does not take the field against the neroverde, he will be starting in the next match against Shevchenko's Genoa.
The former Lille shotstopper managed to halve his recovery times so much so that he is already back to goalkeeping exercises. Stefano Pioli, for his part, is very happy that 'Magic' Mike Maignan is back. However, he does not want to risk him.
The 26-year-old will return to play if the coaching staff deems him match-fit and when it's safe for him to come back.
