Paolo Maldini and Ivan Gazidis, respectively technical area director and club CEO, have expressed themselves to the club's official channel after the renewal of Stefano Pioli.
First, here are Maldini's words:
"There is the thrill of continuing a path that began more than a year ago and which has led Milan to achieve great results not only on the pitch. There is a strategy is to build a winning team over time, to become stronger and stronger. We are not making a contract only with the coach-Pioli, but with the man-Pioli. There will be problems, we will find less happy days, but when there is this empathy, the problems are solved."
Gazidis said the following:
"Surely, the technical project continues, but the most important thing for all of us is Stefano's the person, for how he represents the club. I know it is the same for Paolo. Stefano is perfect for giving the right values to the players. Ours is a one-step process. Let's not think too far, work is more fundamental than dreams."
