La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition focused on the performance of referee Juan Luca Sacchi who oversaw the match of Genoa - AC Milan which ended 3-0 in the Rossoneri's favour.
According to the newspaper, the referee managed the game overall in the best possible way. But, Vazquez of Genoa should have been given a yellow card in the 20th minute for his kick on Sandro Tonali as the intervention came clearly late.
Gabbia had a yellow card at the 32nd minute and it was not a violent gesture, therefore it was right not to give a red card, obviously. Gabbia, again, intervenes on Andrea Cambiaso but this time the movement of the body is absolutely involuntary.
The two other yellow cards given in the match to Genoa players were correct: Andrea Masiello (for a foul on Messias) and Nicolò Rovella who held full-back Theo Hernandez and stopped him from sprinting.
