AC Milan were handed another defeat in the Champions League competition last night against Premier League side Liverpool and now, they can put all of their focus on Serie A. The club suffered a lot so far in the season due to injuries and with the January transfer market window, there has been much talk about potential operations.
Journalist Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Sport Italia spoke about the plans of directors Maldini and Massara in view of the mercato:
"We'll see what AC Milan should do in January's window... We'll understand what they want to do because Simon Kjaer needs to be replaced. As for the attacking department, I don't think anything will be done because Ante Rebic and Olivier Giroud will return from injuries."
