Theo Hernandez is not lacking suitors as many European clubs have noticed his unleashed talent and high potential. The former Real Madrid talent was signed on a bargain deal by AC Milan as the club managed to buy his card for a fee around 20 million euros.
Now, Il Diavolo club management is trying to lock their star down with a new contract. His current deal expires in 2024 but the directors wants to add 2 more years to the deadline as they do not think think of a possible sale right now for the player. The idea is to keep him for as long as possible and satisfy his financial demands to keep away any potential buyers.
According to Spanish source El Nacional, Chelsea seem very interested in signing Theo Hernandez due to the injury of Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso's performances which not always convincing. Thomas Tuchel wants a new left-back in his team and he suggested a few names to the club board, one of which was the current AC Milan star.
