AC Milan's 35-year-old French centre-forward, Olivier Giroud, scored 4 goals in 10 Serie A games this season and it seems that the Rossoneri are expecting a little more from him in this league race.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal man has not scored since October 26 against Torino at the San Siro. He started the season well, but his performances went downhill due to injuries and Covid-19.
As per Tuttosport in today's print edition, a turning point in Giroud's performances with Milan is very much needed. Otherwise, his confirmation to stay in the squad would be in doubt as Milan management want to have certainties. The attacker's contract is due to expire in June 2023.
