Martina Piemonte, the Italian new striker of AC Milan Women's Team, granted an interview to the club's official microphones. Here are her words:
"I am very excited, it is an honour to be part of this great family. My experiences so far? They have enriched me a lot. She was alone, away from home and this made me grow a lot on a personal level. I have confidence in myself, I have become more confident."
On her return to Italy:
"It was not easy to return and have suffered a head injury and then Covid-19. Now I'm more charged than before, I have to recover all the moments I lost and I can't wait to do it at Milan."
On what Milan represents:
"Milan is an opportunity for redemption. They are a strong team, I will give my all."
On Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"He has always been my idol. Being in the same club with him is something huge. He is unique in the world, I am inspired by him a lot also on a character level because he is someone who never gives up. And it is the same for myself."
On her growth:
"In recent years, I have learned to always believe in myself despite everything and everyone. Hard work always pays off."
On the target...
"My first goal is to get into this team as best I can and give my all because Milan deserve to be higher up."
