AC Milan's first half of the current campaign has gone well overall. But, the obstacles were many: several players had to be out due to injury which stopped the good run of the team in the Serie A.
Simon Kjaer's injury is certainly a big factor that made Stefano Pioli's team decline in terms of form. But, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are hoping to find the right affordable profile to replace him as the Dane is out until the rest of the season.

According to an exclusive report published recently by Calciomercatoweb.it, some transfer market intermediaries have proposed to the Rossoneri club the name of Rodrigo Guth. The player is a 21-year-old Brazilian centre-back playing for NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie. He is there on loan from Serie A club Atalanta.
He is an interesting footballer with a future ahead of him. Before his experience in the Eredivisie, Rodrigo Guth played in Italy, first with Atalanta Primavera and then in Serie B with the Pescara team on loan. As far as negotiations go, Milan have not initiated any moves because the profile is not very tempting to Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara for now. The AC Milan managers are on the trail of a young defender but with more experience to his name.
