AC Milan director, Paolo Maldini, is looking forward for the Coppa Italia clash against Genoa. The game should start in a few minutes, and the former Rossoneri legendary captain took some time to answer a few questions asked by those at SportMediaset:
"Signing a defender? Too many names, many are invented. We try to do things with the lights off. We have seen the reliability of our centre-backs. It does not mean that someone has to arrive."
On Shevchenko:
"He knew it would be a risky choice. I certainly didn't see him happy. Whoever does this job puts everything into it, in difficult moments you have to cling to something and in this I see him a little down."
Maldini concluded by talking about his son, Daniel:
"The opportunity is to train all the players in a club like Milan and with high-level professionals. He must try to improve and take something from the players he trains with. In Milan there are many historical appeals, I didn't remember my debut in the Italian Cup but I remember we played 4-5 games at the beginning of the season. It was an incredible and casual thing."
