Sven Botman is heavily linked with a move to the Rossoneri. AC Milan have reportedly tried to sign him in January but a deal could not go through. Instead, the Italian giants will try again for him in the summer.
The player's agent, Nikkie Bruinenberg, spoke to Voetbal and said the following:
"Botman will stay in France. He will not leave Lille this winter. There was also a lot of interest, offers were made by different clubs. But they were unable to meet the asking price..."
"Lille just don't want to sell him. Sven became champion there and plays in the Champions League. It's only his second season, in a beautiful club. So it's not a disaster to stay."
"AC Milan? I can tell you that it is one of the interested clubs. We will have to wait to see where he will play football next summer."
