AC Milan Women defender Alia Guagni spoke to Tuttosport as she focused on on returning to Serie A and her first few weeks so far with the Rossonere:

"How did I find the Italian championship? Much improved: the intensity has risen a lot and the teams are much better equipped. So it's more competitive, more fun, and it's also about trying harder. But you can see the results of all the work that is being done."

Is Juventus the team to beat?

"They always had an important level of players. Then they were also good at adding signings every year that allowed them to make a difference. They also have a winning mentality", said Alia Guagni.

"At Milan, as with other teams in the league that have been fighting for the Scudetto, what is missing a bit is having a lot of continuity. I needed to find myself after a difficult period and I thought that Milan was the perfect destination where I could do it. Certainly the idea of the national team also influenced the choice, but it will be up to the coach to decide."
