AC Milan Women's First Team beat Sampdoria yesterday, and are set to face Juventus in the semi-final of the Coppa Italia.
Coach Maurizio Ganz discussed his squad's progress and win versus Sampdoria. Here are his statements:
"I said to forget the result of the first leg and to think about making a great performance. That's how it was, we started in the best way and I'm happy. Happy with how we played, they enjoyed it. We are good together, the girls have fun on the pitch, they enjoy being together."
On the team's play style:
"We worked very well both in the offensive and in the defensive phase. The team in recent years has always created many scoring chances", said Ganz, "But in this period, we are really creating a lot and scoring a lot."
