The Rossoneri managed to win 1-0 and become first in the league standings after Inter have drawn with Napoli. Now, Milan have collected 55 points while the Nerazzurri are second with 54 but with a game still to be played.
In any case, the victory against Sampdoria which concluded a busy week of work perfectly, coach Pioli decided to reward his players with two days of rest before resuming work at Milanello. The team will therefore resume work on Wednesday in order to prepare for the game against Salernitana.
