The latest Serie A gameweek has been very interesting with all the top clubs, who are in the Scudetto contention, losing points. AC Milan have drawn to Salernitana 2-2. Inter, for their part, lost against Sassuolo at the San Siro 2-0. Atalanta lost against Fiorentina while Juventus drew in the derby against Torino.
Tonight, Napoli needed a win to become first in the table with AC Milan. However, Cagliari proved to be a very tricky and tough side who almost took three points. The game ended 1-1. Gaston Pereiro scored for Cagliari in the 58th minute while Napoli's Victor Osimhen grabbed the equaliser in the 87th minute.
Cagliari were really close to snatching the win and scoring a few more goals if it were not for the great saves of 33-year-old Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.
Now, the Serie A league table sees AC Milan still first with 56 points after 26 games. Inter, who are still missing one game have 54 points. Napoli also have 54 points in 26 fixtures. The Bianconeri are fourth with 47 points while Atalanta are fifth with 44 points.
