The AC Milan management are already planning for the summer. The goal for club managers Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and CEO Ivan Gazidis is to prepare a strong squad for Stefano Pioli without spending crazy amounts of money.
In this context, the club has been linked for a while now with soon-to-be free agent Andrea Belotti who is currently with Torino. However, the Rossoneri are not the only club interested.
In fact, Atalanta are also keen on securing the player's services. This is according to Tuttosport who explain that there is a strong race for the 28-year-old striker with even Juventus and Inter in the background as they should not be excluded of the race.
Belotti, who never hid his love for the club he supported since childhood, AC Milan, has been having a challenging season so far due to injuries. He is rumoured to be leaving as a free agent to find a new opportunity and relaunch himself. A contract renewal with Torino seems difficult for now.
This season, Belotti has appeared in just 12 games with Torino. He scored 3 goals and provided only one assist to his team.
