Former legendary coach who wrote history with AC Milan, Arrigo Sacchi, shared his opinion and analysis, as usual to La Gazzetta dello Sport, about the Rossoneri and the Scudetto race.
Here are his words:
"The fight for the scudetto is very excting and it involves three teams in particular: Milan, Inter and Napoli. Milan has shown once more that if they don't play 'as a team' they can lose against anyone, even against Salernitana last in the standings."
He continued:
"Pioli's team is not the strongest, but they play the best football. But if it doesn't work as a united, cohesive group, where everyone collaborates and sacrifices themselves, then it's not going anywhere. In Salerno, the Rossoneri took the lead and then turned off the engine."
Sacchi added:
" I am often asked: can Milan win the Scudetto? Yes, as long as you have the team spirit and find the ethics of work and sacrifice. Milan can hide the the technical and experience limits, compared to its direct opponents only through the game."
