Steven Bergwijn has not achieved the potential he has at Tottenham. Since his arrival there, his growth has been hindered. The Dutch winger who played before for PSV Eindhoven appeared for the London-based team in 69 occasions so far and only collected 7 goals and 10 assists for himself since he joined them.

Tottenham signed the 24-year-old for a fee of 35 million euros shortly before the pandemic and his spell there so far has not been exactly fruitful.
Antonio Conte is now relying on the newest signing Dejan Kulusevski which means less playing time for the Dutch forward.
According to a report by Calciomercato.com, Steven Bergwijn is now part of the Rossoneri directors' plan to bolster the team in view of the new season. There are still no official offers because a lot will depend on the allocated budget given to Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and the future of Junior Messias who is currently on loan from Crotone with an option to buy yet to be activated. As for Bergwijn's pricetag, Tottenham would be ready to accept a fee from 18 to 20 million euros.
