In the last summer's transfer market window, Urbano Cairo's club, Torino, managed to secure the arrival of promising Italian midfielder Tommaso Pobega on the basis of a dry loan move from AC Milan. After returning from a loan spell at Spezia last season, the player appeared in a few friendly games for the Rossoneri before being sent on loan to gain more experience and continuity in Serie A football.

His current situation:
The AC Milan Primavera graduate is an important part of Ivan Juric's plans. He has played the full 90 minutes in the last 4 games and has been able to win the approval of the Torino fans throughout the whole season who are demanding that their club sits down with the Rossoneri for a permanent transfer.
In 24 appearances in Serie A, Pobega scored 4 goals and made 1 assist as a midfielder in the 3-4-2-1 formation module that his Croatian coach employs.

What AC Milan's plan is:
Torino, in fact, tried and still hope to find an agreement with AC Milan for Tommaso Pobega who is 22 years old. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara's stance, however, does not allign with the idea of Torino's president and owner Urbano Cairo who wants to negotiate the insertion of a buy-option.
The Milanese directors and scouting department continue to follow closely the Italian midfielder's progress and playtime. The idea is that he would return to Milan and train under the guidance of coach Stefano Pioli to see if he can fit into his tactical plans or not.
Right now, Pobega is worth somewhere around 15 million euros and could reach the 20 million euros mark if he makes great performances on a regular basis until the season's end. If AC Milan decides to sell their youngster, it would be due to an attractive financial offer (which would count as pure capital gains in the balance sheet) or some favourable terms.
