It is surely a day to forget for the AC Milan club regarding the women's sector as the team coached Maurizio Ganz was unrecognisable against Juventus. In the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, the red and black faithful did not show enough quality, composure and expertise to beat the Bianconere.
The team of Australian-Italian tactician Jose Montemurro won comfortably by scoring 6 goals. The first half ended 2-0 thanks to Cristiana Girelli and Amanda Nildén.
In the second half, the Rossonere wasted a few chances to keep their hopes alive and then Juventus found the third goal in the 62nd minute thanks to Girelli again as she secured a brace for herself.
Martina Rosucci made it 4-0 in the 84th minute before seeing a second brace in the match scored by Agnese Bonfantini in the 88th and 90th minute. Lindsey Thomas was the only goalscorer for the AC Milan side in the 93rd minute. Juventus were dominant and Milan were nowhere to be seen after a very disappointing performance.
