His deal with the club expires at the end of the current season, like his teammate Alessio Romagnoli who is reportedly set for an exit. The former Atalanta midfielder, after a spectacular season last year is now considering a future elsewhere.
The Rossonero number 79 is not being consistent in terms of performances like last season this time but he still managed to contribute well on different occasions defensively and even in the attacking phase as he boasts 6 goals and 1 assist to his name in 29 appearances.
Now, FC Barcelona are close to striking an agreement with him.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Franck Kessie's camp have reached an agreement with the managers at the Blaugrana. The 25-year-old will enjoy a salary of 6.5 million euros net per season. Right now, only the signatures are missing.
