We have told you before about Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara's need to sign a new striker to help the ones who are occupying the attacking department now for AC Milan: 35-year-old French seasoned player Olivier Giroud and 40-year-old Swede veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Marko Lazetic is 18 years old and until now, he is yet to make a single appearance as he is deemed not ready yet. Therefore, it is normal for the club directors to seek a confirmed type of player for next season.

According to a report shared by those at Calciomercato.com, the legendary club captain, Maldini, likes the profile of Liverpool's Belgian forward Divock Origi. The 26-year-old scored against the Rossoneri at the San Siro and has impressed the technical director.
In fact, as per the report, there have been some exploratory polls by AC Milan for the attacker who has given his initial approval for a potential move.
Divock Origi, however, does hve an important market in the Premier League.
It should be noted, though, that the idea of joining the red and black side at the San Siro is tempting for him.
According to the same source, a deal could be actually found between the Rossoneri managing directors and Origi's camp as his candidacy is climbing in the agenda of the club in view of a possible summer move. The former VfL Wolfsburg and Lille star has an expiring contract with English giants. Under Jurgen Klopp this season, he has only featured in a total of 14 games only with 5 goals and 3 assists.
