Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan were deservedly called-up to the French national team. The French duo worked hard and earned their spots in the squad of Didier Deschamps. However, Olivier Giroud remains absent from the coach's plans.
The former Olympiqu de Marseille player and tactician, offered this explanation to the media about the Rossoneri striker:
"It's a good moment for Giroud at Milan. He's scoring important goals, I'm happy for him and for his club", he said.
Didier Deschamps added:
"But, I have to make choices. I know very well what Olivier is capable of doing with us. He can be called up and remains at the disposal of the national team."
